Ivan and Jacob:
Ivan is a night woman uses fake curtain.
Jacob has a monologue was of him talking to himself.
I thought

Lesley is the pregnant person on the boat (Celine)
jasmine is the woman in night women
she says not to be like her and to Never lie to her child when it is born
they both explain what they are and what they do


guy and the night woman have a disagreement on what they believe and guy believed that children should get a job, and the night woman believe the kid should go to school.

Reflection:

Ivan and Jacob went first and they are both night women. Ivan started off with acting out tucking his child away to sleep before he went to prostitute and then there was a nock on the door and it was Jacob who explained why he is a night woman and he seems ashamed and he explains the reasoning for being a night woman. Jacobs monologue was very serious and it gave off a harsh emotion towards the life that he was portraying and the dignity that he is trying to portray as being both a night woman and a mother.
next was my performance and I portrayed a night woman while jack portrayed my ex husband in this case guy that died and came back as an angel. the point of this performance was to for guy to explain why he did what he did and why he is much happier now and feel that the family has no option but to continue to thrive because he can't come back. we both choose to have the performance be him walking in as an angel and us both sitting face to face. the emotion that I showed was of depression and sadness and he showed more of a apologetic energy.
lesley and jasmine were next and Lesley was celienne and jasmine was a night woman. in their scene Lesley was walking in the street and Jasmine walks up to her and stops her, then they sit down on a bench I presume and they start taking about their lives and how it is to be pregnant and have no father, and the night woman explains how it is t be a night woman and have a child, and not have a father, so in some cases they start to connect to each others situations. jasmine tells Lesley mother to mother to choose the best decision for you kid , and gives her advice on being a mother, and why she choses to live the way she does.
last was Cassidy and the two boys. the two boys were night women and Cassidy was guy. the two night women started off agreeing with their lifestyles and that they agreed that making money for education was more important than having a child work. guy disagreed and felt like a child should get on the list, they should work as a child to be sufficient for the family. so they start to bump heads on their ideas of parenting,  school vs. work. Cassidy starts to get into davids face in the end and they start to argue heaver to end the scene, leaving it in suspense.

This is just to say

The words that stick out to me with the sound are words like plums, icebox, delicious, sweet, and cold. I think mainly because they are feeling words and the writer probably wanted he reader to feel the words. Also in the beginning the first stanza of the poem when the writer says the plums that were in the icebox had stuck out to me because of the T sounds that I got from the poem. Also the last stanza when the writer says so sweet and so cold. The so was repeated twice to emphasize the amount of sweetness and coldness. Also the s sounds. The meaning of the poem is that whomever has eaten the plums did because of temptation and the writer is trying to have he reader feel that temptation. They didn’t really want to eat them I’m assuming but get were really hungry and they want whomever those plums were to understand the reasoning behind it. Play review: The romeo and juliet play at the park was very interesting. We were all laid out comfortably on blankets on the grass. The play started at 8:00. It was the original shakespeare play but with a twist. It started off with the scene in the village, and then went into a scene with juliet and her mother . In between the scenes they played more modern day music which i thought was entertaining because it gave the play more of a modern feel. During the play there was singing a little through out but it was mostly a straight play. The costumes that the characters in the play wore were accurate to the time period of romeo and juliet. There was a scene in the play where they foreshadowed the death of juliet when she wore a white robe that both tybalt and mercutio wore when they died. Because the play was a romance tragedy, there were two or three scenes where romeo and juliet kissed.
