self-eval

As for the literary analysis and performance piece of the paper  I think I did an even amount of both. I focused on incorporating a lot of both to even out the amounts. I think I can add more performance pieces into my second draft and say more about the props, lighting, and music to further discuss my performance. When I had someone peer edit I seen that I did include a lot of language and quotes from the book so I think I can go back and further my analysis of the quotes and add more depth to the paper.  At this point in the paper I think I have about a 13/20 and I could add a little more detail and more words and I want to also go through and fix some grammar mistakes and some writing errors  and I will be at at least a 18/20 or higher, because I have everything that I need in my paper I just have a few more key things that I can add to make my paper an A

This is just to say

The words that stick out to me with the sound are words like plums, icebox, delicious, sweet, and cold. I think mainly because they are feeling words and the writer probably wanted he reader to feel the words. Also in the beginning the first stanza of the poem when the writer says the plums that were in the icebox had stuck out to me because of the T sounds that I got from the poem. Also the last stanza when the writer says so sweet and so cold. The so was repeated twice to emphasize the amount of sweetness and coldness. Also the s sounds. The meaning of the poem is that whomever has eaten the plums did because of temptation and the writer is trying to have he reader feel that temptation. They didn’t really want to eat them I’m assuming but get were really hungry and they want whomever those plums were to understand the reasoning behind it. Play review: The romeo and juliet play at the park was very interesting. We were all laid out comfortably on blankets on the grass. The play started at 8:00. It was the original shakespeare play but with a twist. It started off with the scene in the village, and then went into a scene with juliet and her mother . In between the scenes they played more modern day music which i thought was entertaining because it gave the play more of a modern feel. During the play there was singing a little through out but it was mostly a straight play. The costumes that the characters in the play wore were accurate to the time period of romeo and juliet. There was a scene in the play where they foreshadowed the death of juliet when she wore a white robe that both tybalt and mercutio wore when they died. Because the play was a romance tragedy, there were two or three scenes where romeo and juliet kissed.
