My name is Nia Hubbard. I am 16 years old. I was born in Norwalk ct and raised in Hamden Connecticut. My birthday is on December 26th, and I was born in the year 2000. I have been to a total of 6 different school systems And I am a junior in high school, this is also my fourth year of high school. My favorite subjects in school are photography and my free periods.
Family is something that means a lot to me. Me and my family have been through a lot together and when you go through tough times your friends won't always be there but family is permanent. Time has shown me that family comes first before anyone, and that's why they mean the most to me.
 I have played basketball all my life and was an all state long jumper and relay sprinter. I have attended Cheshire academy for 2 years now. I have torn north of my acls, while playing basketball. I have done this both within two years and I am on the road to recovery. I want to play basketball for a division 1 basketball team. my favorite nba players are Kawhi Leonard, and Lebron James.
 I want to be an entrepreneur of my own clothing company. i have many ideas of how to start and I have always been very creative and motivated to start a fashion brand. The reason I want to creat my own brand is because I want to motivate the youth to follow their dreams and also, spread positivity through clothing by making all clothing unisex.
  I like to listen to all types of music.i don't prefer a certain genre of music but I love hip hop. My favorite artists are fabulous, meek mill, and young thug. I also love indie some of my favorite indie artist are SZA and kehlani. All music can be enjoyable for me, and it is easy to feel the music and the emotion through it.
I am taking this course because I want to improve my interpretation skills when it comes to reenacting a play or part. I am not really interested in a boring English class, and I want something that will challenge me but will also fun at the same time.my goals for the year is to get a b or higher in all my classes, start my brand, and get 4 more offers in basketball.

This is just to say

The words that stick out to me with the sound are words like plums, icebox, delicious, sweet, and cold. I think mainly because they are feeling words and the writer probably wanted he reader to feel the words. Also in the beginning the first stanza of the poem when the writer says the plums that were in the icebox had stuck out to me because of the T sounds that I got from the poem. Also the last stanza when the writer says so sweet and so cold. The so was repeated twice to emphasize the amount of sweetness and coldness. Also the s sounds. The meaning of the poem is that whomever has eaten the plums did because of temptation and the writer is trying to have he reader feel that temptation. Play review: The romeo and juliet play at the park was very interesting. We were all laid out comfortably on blankets on the grass. The play started at 8:00. It was the original shakespeare play but with a twist. It started off with the scene in the village, and then went into a scene with juliet and her mother . In between the scenes they played more modern day music which i thought was entertaining because it gave the play more of a modern feel. During the play there was singing a little through out but it was mostly a straight play. The costumes that the characters in the play wore were accurate to the time period of romeo and juliet. There was a scene in the play where they foreshadowed the death of juliet when she wore a white robe that both tybalt and mercutio wore when they died.
